During one of our due diligence phases, we stopped by a desired lot only to be greeted by this chicken. To our surprise, the chicken chased us around our car and down the road. The laughter and disbelief that came from this chance encounter with our newfound friend, helped us realize that this was the property for us. The moral of the story, you never know what you will find at your new property and every property speaks to you in a different way. Ours was this chasing chicken, who we later named Dorie. Unfortunately, Dorie did not come with the property.
